A5_Our values, our poems
Prienai
Prienai is famous for its unique nature,
The Nemunas river is Lithuania‘s greatest.
Glider championships are held every year,
Huge green forests along the river appear.
The Greimas bridge connects two ancient lands.
The knight Kestutis in Prienai proudly
stands.
Welcome to Prienai!
Welcome to Prienai!
Welcome to Prienai!
A4_Playing with classic fairy tales
Stintapukis
„Sparling“ is a fish
which fishermen used to catch. You can see and hear an archaic song which was
sung by Lithuanians living by the Baltic sea. The people who remained at home,
used to keep saying the words „Stinta pūkis“ and dancing, while waiting for the
fishermen to come back from the sea. They performed this ritual wishing the
fishermen success (LT)
A3_Traditional song
Traditional song „Sparrow, sparrow“
All:
Sparrow, sparrow,
All:
How are you?
The sparrow: I‘ve got a headache.
All:
Poor sparrow, poor sparrow, it was so unhappy, It had a headache.
(It had pain in
his leg, it had a stomach ache, etc)
Traditional Song „Black Song“
When children fall asleep
at night
Bugaboos come from the dreams
They switch off the
light, stand in a corner
They are afraid of
tidiness,these unvisible bugaboos.
Black eyes, black hands,
What is making that
terrible noise?
Mama, are you sure that
bugaboos don‘t exist?
M1_The first transnational project meeting in Poland.
Transnational
Project Meeting in Pobiedziska, Poland
Our
first project meeting was on 15 – 17
January 2018 in Poland, at the school in
Pobiedziska. Teachers from seven countries, cooperating in the Erasmus +
project KA219 2017-2019 "Creating, communicating, our diversity in are
celebrating".took place in it.
Our
team together with the teachers from Romania, Turkey, Greece, Spain and
Portugal participated in various project activities. Also, we had possibility
to get to know culture, cuisine and some facts about history of the country.
Pobiedziska is an attractive
neighbourhood for tourists with a lot of green
clean forests and lakes. People are friendly towards guests and the
people who would like to start their business there.
We
admired the small replicas at the Miniature Museum, visited the first Polish
capital Gniezno and the museum there.
We
were given a warm welcome at the Municipality
by the Mayor of the town and the district. We watched a video about the
town – its past and nowadays and listened to stories about people.
We
had a guided tour in Poznań,admired the Old Town, its beautiful buildings. We
enjoyed the activity at the Croissant
Museum.
A
surprise for us was the special programme shown for us by the Song and Dance
Ensemble "Wiwaty"in the culture centre. Dressed in national costumes,
they sang traditional songs and danced traditional dances.
